About artists
Karen Young discovered her life-long passion for jazz while listening to bebop jazz albums by Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. Winner of the 2016 Oscar Peterson Award, she has never refused a musical challenge and sings in more than 20 languages. Her voice can be heard on more than 40 albums!
Marianne Trudel is a pianist, composer, improviser and arranger. Her powerful music, found at the intersection of several influences, testifies to her openness to the infinite universe of music. Like Young, she has performed her music in many countries.
